Blue Skies... nothing but Blue Skies

Blue skies ... nothing but blue skies. Remember the lazy days of summer when you were a kid? How fun to lay and watch the clouds in the blue skies and use your imagination to see what you could make of them. Take a moment today and stretch your imagination, what do you see yourself doing tomorrow, in a few years from now, what do you want to do! Go ahead and dream, then take action and make those dreams come true. Set a goal - goals are dreams with a deadline. Make your dream come true. Anyone got a Paint brush!

My inspiration for the day:

  • Blue skies and cotton candy clouds
  • Quote: " To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream, not only plan, but also believe."- Anatole France
  • A fresh tube of Ultramarine Blue paint

Today I introduce:  "Writings by Dee".Dee is a most wonderful friend and paints with beautiful & truthful words. Be sure to read her  poem and let it inspire you.

Writings By Dee:

Master Artist

God, the Master Artist,
Paints each day in you.
Every stroke He takes,
Every Move He makes
His lovely Christ shows through.

May we be like canvas,
And have an open weave.
Yielded to His plan,
Coming from His hand,
To trust Him and believe.

We are a masterpiece,
When all His work is done,
Transformed so neatly,
Conformed completely,
Made radiant in His Son.

Dot

A daffy lady named Dot
choked on her food quite a lot.

One day during lunch,
she took such a bunch,
That out of her mouth the stew flew
Landing on shoes, now, no longer new.

What a sight to behold,
What a tale to be told
How can we help poor old Dot?
Who tries to eat such a lot.

We devised a plan
To be oh so grand.
We made a small spoon with a slot,
She now takes much less from the pot.
